A Echo360 Case Study
The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), a 7,000‑member organization advancing minimally invasive, image‑guided treatments, needed a better way to deliver continuing education. Their existing video captures redirected members off the SIR site and lacked integrated credentialing, interactivity, and timely high‑quality content, limiting clinicians’ ability to earn CME/SA‑CME credits and stay current in a fast‑moving specialty.
Partnering with Echo360 Continuing Education, SIR launched the SIR Digital Video Library (2011), providing a branded, integrated portal with single sign‑on, LMS/AMS integration, automated CME/SA‑CME credentialing and engagement tracking. The solution delivered faster, higher‑quality content (300+ hours from the Annual Scientific Meeting), boosted member satisfaction and learning impact, generated new non‑dues revenue through packaged tiered sales and marketing support, and enabled plans for personalized and global expansion.
