Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) is a small but ambitious university (8,000 students, 1,000 faculty) committed to training entrepreneurial problem-solvers. Facing complex courses and inconsistent, ad-hoc video use by staff, the university needed a single, coherent system to let students review lectures, revisit seminars, and catch up on missed content to improve learning outcomes.

LUT implemented Echo360, integrated with its Moodle LMS, giving staff an easy way to produce and share recordings, short instructional videos, and interactive quizzes. In three years adoption has grown across almost every department—about a quarter of teachers use the platform, students watched roughly 50,000 hours of recordings last year, and feedback has been very positive, with continued growth expected.
