Southern Illinois University (SIU) needed a way to simplify lecture capture and student engagement while reducing costs and making technology easier for instructors and students to use. After years of using multiple systems, SIU selected Echo360 as its academic video platform to consolidate tools into one solution.

Echo360 implemented a single platform that combined video capture, engagement features, note-taking, Q&A, and polling in one login. The result was stronger adoption and efficiency: since 2017, SIU has recorded more than 22,000 lectures and classrooms, with nearly 100 instructors and over 1,000 students using the system and more than 5,000 student interactions each month.
