The Evergreen State College, an unconventional public college, faced the challenge of a website that did not reflect its unique academic model and natural campus setting. Its outdated site featured limited UI, disorganized content, and a clunky design that hindered student engagement. The college partnered with vendor Echo Delta for a comprehensive web design and development project to address these issues.

Echo Delta implemented a complete website redesign built on Drupal, which included stakeholder interviews and user research to streamline content and reduce the total page count from 10,000 to 1,000. The solution featured a customizable degree finder, ADA-compliant content blocks, and a design inspired by the college's natural surroundings. As a result of Echo Delta's work, the project received industry recognition, including a Gold AAF Award and a Gold EduAd Award in 2024.
