Case Study: CORE Health Networks achieves continuous, Never-Down connectivity and optimized uptime with Ecessa PowerLink®

A Ecessa Case Study

Preview of the CORE Health Networks Case Study

Redundancy is key for communication links and WAN equipment

CORE Health Networks, a Baton Rouge–based provider of integrated occupational medicine serving a nationwide network of over 1,200 clinics, needed to guarantee high availability for its hosted scheduling and medical data applications so clients could book and submit information any time. To address this, CORE turned to Ecessa and deployed Ecessa PowerLink® appliances to protect its WAN and connectivity to remote clinic sites.

Ecessa implemented redundant PowerLink® units in hardware failover mode and an additional unit at CORE’s data center, using the appliances as a WAN aggregator to optimize upload/download bandwidth and provide seamless failover. The Ecessa solution delivered the continuous, “Never Down” connectivity CORE required—minimizing downtime for customers, maintaining uptime across its clinic network, and winning praise for both the PowerLink® performance and Ecessa’s tech support.
