Case Study: Woodstream achieves uninterrupted worldwide connectivity with Ecessa WANworX SD-WAN

A Ecessa Case Study

Preview of the Woodstream Case Study

Leverages SD-WAN for Worldwide Connections

Woodstream, a consumer goods manufacturer with locations in North America, the U.K. and China, was frequently losing connectivity at remote sites because each location relied on a single Internet connection and MPLS links could be unreliable. With 100% network uptime critical for Citrix, email, file sharing, database replication and warehouse/fulfillment operations, Woodstream turned to Ecessa and its WANworX® SD-WAN solution to address the risk of ISP outages.

Ecessa deployed WANworX® to virtualize the WAN, aggregate multiple ISP links with VPN tunnels, and provide automatic failover and traffic steering across all available circuits. The result: daily ISP outages (“one or two ISP connections go down” regularly) no longer affect users — traffic is rerouted instantly and restored when lines return — and Woodstream reports it has effectively eliminated downtime since the Ecessa deployment.
