Case Study: Tesco improves decision making and performance with ECAT Group

A ECAT Group Case Study

Preview of the Tesco Case Study

Better decision making and improved performance

Tesco, which operates a 780,000 square foot distribution centre in Donabate, Dublin, was using several manual and paper-based auditing processes that did not give management the data, reports, or insights they needed. The company looked for a smarter solution and trialled ECAT Group’s ECAT platform to replace its disjointed system.

Tesco rolled ECAT Group’s solution out across the entire facility and recreated its paper logs and trackers in the platform, along with the alerts, escalations, reports, and KPI dashboards management needed. Tesco said the transition was fast and easy, auditors adopted the app without a demonstration, and admin users were trained in a day. Management now has a clearer and more accurate view of operations, issues are highlighted faster, and the company reports better decision making, less exposure to accidents or non-conformance, and improved overall performance.
