Nome Capital Partners earns LEED Gold for a 373,725 sq. ft. building with EBI Consulting

Nome Capital Partners, a real estate investment firm, engaged EBI Consulting to pursue LEED O+M certification for their 373,725-square-foot Ziggurat Building. The challenge was to develop and execute a plan to certify the 1998-built office facility, which required a comprehensive feasibility study and upgrades to meet the sustainability standards.

EBI Consulting implemented a multi-step solution that began with a feasibility cost study and an ASHRAE Level II energy audit. This led to a complete lighting retrofit and a five-year collaborative effort to compile documentation for review. As a result of EBI's work, the building was awarded a LEED Gold certification by the US Green Building Council, a significant achievement that recognizes its high operational and environmental performance.
