AL-KO Gardentech UK cut stock by 20% as service levels hit 99%

AL-KO Gardentech UK, a major developer and manufacturer of lawnmowers and garden tractors, struggled with complex inventory across ~400 finished items and some 250,000 spare parts, suffering prolonged stockouts and excess stock. After finding Microsoft NAV’s native planning tools too basic for their seasonal and variable demand, AL-KO chose specialist cloud stock-planning software from EazyStock to better manage forecasting and reorder visibility.

EazyStock was integrated with Microsoft NAV and configured with item-level policies, ABC classification and daily-adjusted forecasts, plus “risk of run-out” alerts and a dedicated Customer Success Manager. As a result, AL-KO’s service levels jumped from ~65–70% to 99%, one brand achieved 100% fulfillment, overall stock holdings fell by 20%, and backorders and emergency shipping costs were significantly reduced.
