W. McKee Manufacturing Manure spreading goes high-tech with Eaton products

W. McKee Manufacturing Ltd. of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, a livestock farming equipment maker, needed to replace an industry-known competitive pump in its truck-mounted hydraulic manure spreaders. Eaton was brought in with its Vickers® VMQ Series vane pump to address the challenge and improve performance in manure spreading applications.

Eaton’s VMQ pump performed so well that McKee decided almost immediately to standardize on it for new builds. The success led to the installation of an Eaton Vickers manifold and EFX controller as well, strengthening the hydraulic system and driving a broader Eaton component lineup across the product.
