Virtus Data Centres works with Eaton to bring power efficiency to state-of-the-art colocation data centres in London

Virtus Data Centres, a London-based colocation provider, needed to maintain high energy efficiency while allowing its business and customers to scale without significant capital expenditure. Working with Eaton, Virtus sought a power infrastructure that could support resilient, flexible data centre operations while keeping parasitic load and total cost of ownership low, using Eaton’s Power Xpert 9395 UPSs.

Eaton helped Virtus build an agile, modular, and scalable infrastructure designed for efficiency across the data centre lifecycle. With Eaton’s Power Xpert 9395 UPSs and intelligent cooling strategies, Virtus achieved a PUE of 1.5 at LONDON1 and is targeting a projected PUE of 1.2 for LONDON2, while enabling capacity growth with demand and reducing operating costs through lower energy use.
