HERBERT Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH & Company, KG, a German manufacturer of tire curing presses, needed a trusted supplier that could fully support its hydraulically driven press systems for different tire manufacturers and press configurations. Eaton worked to prove it could meet those requirements with reliable hydraulic components, including power units and manifold blocks.
Eaton responded with application and commercial engineering support, reviewing HERBERT schematics and recommending a complete hydraulic solution using pumps, motors, control valves, filtration products, hose assemblies, and manifold blocks. As a result, Eaton components were chosen for the majority of HERBERT presses, five tire manufacturers now specify only Eaton power units and manifold blocks, and one customer installed Eaton hydraulic components on more than 200 presses in Russia, improving uptime and ensuring dependable global spare parts support.
