A Eaton Case Study
The Seebach District Waterworks in Germany faced a challenge with their outdated pressure booster system, which could not be expanded due to severely limited space in the control cabinet. This prevented necessary modifications to ensure adequate water pressure for their extensive network. Eaton provided a solution using their easy800 control relay and MFD-Titan multi-function display.
Eaton's solution replaced numerous conventional components with a networked easy800/MFD-Titan system, which handled all control, monitoring, and fault indication. This integration saved considerable space and wiring effort, allowing the waterworks to add another pump. The results included significant cost savings on switching devices and installation, plus a modern, flexible system with powerful text-based visualization for future needs.
