Case Study: Power Hydraulik achieves greater reliability and compact HPU design with Eaton hydraulics

A Eaton Case Study

Preview of the Power Hydraulik Case Study

Hydraulik builds innovative hydraulic power units using Eaton technologies to improve uptime in oil and gas applications

Power Hydraulik, a hydraulic systems manufacturer, needed to build extremely reliable yet compact hydraulic power units (HPUs) for an oil and gas project in Kazakhstan's harsh climate. They partnered with Eaton for its technology and expertise to select components like proportional and directional valves that could ensure maximum uptime under these extreme operating conditions.

Eaton provided vital support in designing the HPUs with its compact and reliable valves, including the KB Series. The solution resulted in a 480kW power unit that was 30% smaller than comparable units, allowing for easier transport and more capacious fuel tanks. This partnership with Eaton enabled Power Hydraulik to exceed customer expectations by delivering a pre-assembled, high-performance system optimized for fuel consumption and reliability.
