HINE Sails in Wind Turbine Market with Eaton Products

HINE S.A., a hydraulics company serving the wind power market, needed to establish U.S. operations and be up and running in just five months to support a major wind turbine manufacturer. To meet that demand, it had to quickly secure local sourcing, set up facilities, and ensure a reliable supply of Eaton Vickers® KBFDG4V3/5 Series proportional directional valves and screw-in cartridge valves for turbine pitch control systems.

Eaton supported HINE S.A. by helping establish a U.S. supply agreement, onboarding HINE as a direct OEM account, and providing extensive local and logistical assistance through its sales and technical teams. With Eaton’s help, HINE achieved an on-time production startup and has supplied the customer’s U.S. facility since February 2008 with weekly on-time deliveries, passing quality inspections and supporting a production ramp toward 500 turbines per year.
