High-performance hose provides secure supply to Hexapod drives

Oelhydraulik Hagenbuch AG, a Swiss manufacturer of Hexapod test benches for the automotive sector, needed a reliable way to supply oil to drive cylinders in a highly demanding research environment. The hoses had to handle continuous torsion, pressures up to 200 bar, tight installation spaces, and long-running tests that could last for weeks, 24 hours a day. Eaton provided the high-performance Aeroquip Triple Crown GH793 hose with TTC fittings for the application.

Eaton’s GH793 hoses, combined with compact one-piece TTC fittings, gave Hagenbuch the flexibility, pressure resistance, and seal integrity needed for the Hexapod’s restricted routing space and six-axis motion. The result was a durable solution with long service life and excellent leak performance; Hagenbuch reported no hose problems despite tough operating conditions, and the test bench could run continuously for a year.
