G-E-N-U-I-N-E Spells Success for International Truck Dealer

Rechtien International Trucks, a South Florida truck dealer with multiple locations across six counties, faced the challenge of helping customers avoid the hidden costs of low-cost aftermarket clutch replacements. Many of its fleet and independent truck customers needed reliable parts that would keep trucks in service and avoid costly breakdowns, labor charges, and downtime. Eaton’s genuine Fuller replacement clutches were the preferred product used to address this need.

By specifying and selling Eaton genuine OEM clutches — including Fuller Easy-Pedal and Fuller Solo models — Rechtien International Trucks was able to better support customers with dependable performance and lower service risk. The dealership sells about 1,300 to 1,400 Eaton Fuller replacement clutches per year, with 50% going to local fleets, including Penske and Ryder, and its leasing operation has around 150 vehicles on full-service lease with no non-genuine components. Eaton’s solution helped reinforce customer confidence, support maintenance programs, and drive strong repeat business for the dealer.
