Embraer Selects Eaton's Proven Hydraulic Components for New E-Jets E2 Aircraft Family

Embraer, a major aircraft manufacturer, sought to meet updated performance requirements for its new E-Jets E2 family of commercial airplanes. To achieve this, they required a new hydraulic system capable of delivering increased power. Eaton, a proven supplier, was selected to provide hydraulic components including engine-driven pumps and power transfer units.

Eaton designed larger components based on its existing, proven product portfolio to satisfy the aircraft's need for a power increase. As a result, Eaton was able to support Embraer’s goals for next-generation aircraft, including improved reliability and fuel efficiency, while helping the new E2 models meet their scheduled entry-into-service targets. Eaton's selection demonstrates its role as a top supplier for advanced aviation platforms.
