Eaton’s Aeroquip Hose Products Give a Lift to World’s Largest Crane

Lampson International, a heavy lift and transport construction company based in Kennewick, Washington, needed to meet demanding hose assembly requirements while building the world’s largest land-based mobile crane. Working with Eaton’s Aeroquip hose and fittings products, Lampson and its distributor Applied Industrial Technologies had to keep pace with both the crane project and everyday production needs.

Eaton helped solve the challenge by adding crimp machine capacity and supporting next-day shipments when stock ran short, while Applied provided dedicated on-site and customer service support. With an additional Eaton Aeroquip crimp machine and faster access to parts, Lampson kept hose assembly output high and stayed on schedule for the China-bound crane, with at least 10 urgent next-day orders fulfilled successfully.
