A Eaton Case Study
Seneca Sustainable Energy worked with Eaton to grow beyond a traditional automotive-parts model and better serve industrial customers needing hydraulic hose and fittings. The challenge was to turn a NAPA store environment into a reliable source for logging, mining, oil, and agriculture customers who previously had to travel long distances for hose replacements and faced costly downtime.
Eaton helped Seneca Sustainable Energy identify customer needs, invest in the right Weatherhead® inventory, and install the proper crimping equipment to support heavy-duty hose assembly. By positioning the business as an industrial supply house and training staff to stock what local end users required, Eaton helped drive strong growth; in the case study, Weatherhead sales grew to account for half of the customer’s business.
