Case Study: Kaset Phattana Group boosts rice harvester performance with Eaton pumps and motors

A Eaton Case Study

Preview of the Kaset Phattana Group Case Study

Eaton pumps and motors are star performers in Thailand’s remote rice-harvesting terrain

Kaset Phattana Group, Thailand’s leading manufacturer of rice combine harvesters, needed highly reliable pump and motor components that could withstand harsh, remote rice-harvesting conditions and high shock loads. To meet these demands, the company turned to Eaton for heavy-duty hydrostatic variable pumps and motors for its KT-08 and KPH-22T combine harvester models.

Eaton, working with Thai Agency Engineering Company, developed a solution based on Eaton Series 1 heavy-duty closed-circuit piston pumps and motors, including a customized motor with a built-in crossover relief valve. The products passed stringent in-field trials, improved performance in demanding conditions, and were standardized as equipment on Kaset Phattana Group’s combine harvesters, helping minimize downtime and keep machines operating at peak performance.
