A Eaton Case Study
Construction Equipment customer ProAll Reimer Mixers, based in Alberta, Canada, needed high-performance filtration to protect the precision valves in its sophisticated hydraulic control system for volumetric concrete mixers. As the equipment became more automated and sensitive, the company found that lower-cost filters were not clean enough, could leak, and did not reliably protect the system from contamination and metal shavings.
Eaton recommended HP171-0011 high-pressure filters with 7-micron, Beta 1000 elements, and ProAll also added Eaton MBR110 Mobile-gate air breathers to improve reservoir air filtration. With Eaton’s support, ProAll standardized the HP171-0011 across all current production mixers and planned future models, helping ensure cleaner fluid, more reliable operation, and seamless installation with no leaks or shavings.
