A Eaton Case Study
Verne Global, a data center operator in Keflavik, Iceland, needed to build a highly efficient, fully redundant backup power infrastructure to support always-on operations on 100 percent renewable energy. The challenge was to maintain 100 percent uptime, scalability, security, and sustainability while also lowering overall costs and supporting ultra-high-density critical workloads.
Eaton provided onsite engineering support and backup power systems including the Power Xpert 9395, 9395P, 9390, and 93PM UPSs with Energy Saver System (ESS) technology. The solution delivered a scalable, redundant power architecture that helped Verne Global achieve a PUE of 1.15, reduce energy and cooling costs, preserve floor space, and support its 100 percent uptime guarantee while maintaining industry-leading power efficiency.
