Eaton Cylinders Are Aiding In Flood Control Along Japan’s Shinano River

IHI Corporation, Japan’s leading manufacturer of gates for rivers and dams, needed a reliable hydraulic cylinder partner for a major flood-control barrage project on the Shinano River in Niigata Prefecture. The challenge was to win a bid for custom cylinders for large barrage gates that would help control water levels, prevent flooding, and support irrigation infrastructure.
