Case Study: Sugar and Integrated Industries Company achieves greater efficiency and reliability with Eaton’s customised sugar cane loader hydraulics

A Eaton Case Study

Preview of the El Masry Case Study

Customised sugar cane loaders offer greater efficiency and reliability for Egypt’s Sugar and Integrated Industries Company

El Masry, an Eaton system partner serving the agricultural sector, was challenged by their customer, Sugar and Integrated Industries Company (SIIC), to create a high-performing sugar cane loader. The existing loaders were unreliable under Egypt's demanding conditions, lacking the necessary torque for rough terrain and a high-speed mode for long-distance travel between farms. Efficient and reliable operation was essential.

El Masry implemented a solution using Eaton's hydrostatic transmission system for propulsion and hydraulic components, including a V20 series vane pump for lifting. This custom design provided the required two-speed operation and system stability. The results for SIIC included effective contamination control, increased cooling capacity, improved condition monitoring, low noise, and the ability to rescue disabled vehicles. Through this project, El Masry, utilizing Eaton products, successfully delivered a tailored solution that met their customer's precise hydraulics needs.
