The solution, the Eaton Procision transmission, delivered significant results. AIM observed fuel efficiency improvements of eight to ten percent, along with a smoother ride and faster acceleration from a stop. Based on the successful test and positive driver feedback, AIM's corporate office planned to purchase the transmissions for future vehicles because of the combination of good performance and good service from Eaton.
