Airlight Energy, a Swiss renewables company developing innovative parabolic trough solar collectors, needed reliable, robust, and easy-to-maintain electrical systems for remote, harsh environments around the world. To support this, Eaton provided circuit protection and monitoring products including FAZ miniature circuit breakers, FRCmM residual current circuit breakers, NZM circuit breakers, and EMR4 relays.

Eaton’s solution helped Airlight Energy simplify installation and maintenance while ensuring high availability and internationally qualified components for global deployment. The busbar system enabled fast mounting in control panels, and features like contact position indication further eased servicing; as a result, the project advanced through prototype testing in Biasca, Switzerland, with monitored temperature data validating the design.
