Case Study: Bombay Bungalow achieves streamlined reservations and improved guest experience with Eat App

A Eat App Case Study

Preview of the Bombay Bungalow Case Study

Moving from Pen and Paper to Reservation Software

Bombay Bungalow, a newly rebranded Indian restaurant in Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Residence that serves around 220 covers at capacity, was relying on pen-and-paper bookings and needed a modern front-of-house solution to remain competitive. To upgrade service, reservations, and guest tracking, Bombay Bungalow chose Eat App and its Restaurant Manager reservation software.

Eat App implemented its iPad-based Restaurant Manager, including an online reservation widget, floor plan view, and a centralized guest database; setup typically took about three days with 2–4 hours of staff training. The system automated guest profiles and booking channels, gave staff one-tap visibility of table status, increased online bookings, and provided an exportable customer list for targeted email marketing — delivering faster service, more personalized hospitality, and easier floor management for Bombay Bungalow.
