Castilla-La Mancha Media (CMM) needed a reliable way to run its TV voting contest, “The Most Beautiful Town in Castilla-La Mancha,” where hundreds of towns compete and residents vote online across multiple stages. The main challenge was driving broad participation while keeping the process simple for users of all ages and fully transparent, fraud-free, and fair. CMM used the Easypromos voting platform to power the contest.
Easypromos implemented a dedicated microsite with simple voting and sharing links for each town, plus an anti-fraud registration and voting control system to monitor the entire process. The 2023 edition delivered strong results: over 70,000 registered users, 100,600 votes cast, more than 900,000 page views, and over 10,000 social shares, helping the contest remain a viral success for seven editions.
