How to Organize a Multiple-choice Personality Test Combined with Recruiters

Worldreader, a nonprofit with offices in San Francisco, Barcelona, Accra and Nairobi that brings digital books to children in developing countries, needed to grow its Facebook community and boost engagement around World Book Day. With limited development resources and a goal to reach beyond just avid readers, Worldreader used Easypromos and its Quiz application to build a short, visual 5-question “What’s your Book DNA?” personality quiz that encouraged sharing and referrals.

Using Easypromos’ Quiz application plus Facebook ads and promoted posts, Worldreader delivered gender-tailored quiz results tied to literary characters and a referral mechanic for extra entries; winners received one of five Kindles. The Apr 23–May 1 campaign drew 1,424 participants, added 15,069 new Facebook fans, generated over 8,000 page visits in a week, and provided a visually attractive, viral campaign with analytics and vendor support from Easypromos.
