Floqq, the largest Spanish-language video-course search engine, wanted to rapidly expand its user database and demonstrate a growth-hacking approach with an irresistible giveaway (five iPhone 5s). To run the promotion and capture participants they partnered with Easypromos, using the Easypromos Premium app and a referral/recruiting mechanic to drive viral participation.
Easypromos implemented the Premium app with a recruiting system that awarded extra chances to entrants who invited friends, while Floqq amplified the promotion via website links and email marketing. The campaign delivered measurable results: more than 110,000 new user registrations and roughly 80,000 new Facebook fans, outcomes Floqq attributes to Easypromos’ platform and support.
