How a Hotel Group Boosted Engagement with a Gamified Advent Calendar

Devonshire Hotels and Restaurants Group, a collection of hotels, restaurants, holiday cottages and a spa in the English countryside, wanted to boost social media engagement, capture customer data and build brand loyalty during the holiday season. They partnered with Easypromos and used the Easypromos Multi-Game app and its Hidden Objects template to run a gamified Advent Calendar promotion.

Easypromos delivered a 24-day multi-stage Hidden Objects campaign with repeat-entry tracking, weighted entries for frequent players and a built-in random draw. The campaign generated over 80,000 participations from more than 11,000 entrants (an average of 7.1 visits per user), captured 6,418 email sign-ups, produced 3,973 social shares that brought 416 new participants, and significantly increased engagement and brand awareness for Devonshire Hotels and Restaurants Group.
