Giving a Voice to Osteoporosis Patients with the IOF Video Contest

The International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF), the world’s largest NGO focused on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of bone disorders, wanted to give patients a voice and raise global awareness about the impact of osteoporosis. To run its "Give Patients a Voice" video contest—collecting patient stories, hosting an online gallery, enabling votes and social sharing—IOF used Easypromos to collect videos, organize voting and create shareable links.

Using Easypromos, IOF gathered 23 videos from 17 countries, subtitled them for global accessibility, and promoted the gallery across email and social media; the campaign generated over 57,000 page views, nearly 6,000 votes and more than 1,000 shares, significantly boosting social engagement and spreading awareness about osteoporosis and the World Congress. Easypromos’s contest tools made the campaign easy to run and helped IOF amplify patient stories to a global audience.
