Diving Specials, the leading platform for worldwide scuba dive deals, runs the annual Miss Diving Specials photo contest to collect user-generated content and grow its newsletter database. To manage registrations, image submissions and secure public voting, Diving Specials used Easypromos’ contest platform and fraud-prevention features to run the campaign globally.
Easypromos’ solution powered a viral social campaign that delivered 252 valid entries, nearly 18,000 votes, 53,301 site visits, 127,367 page views, 1,907 shares and 273 new social followers — and generated about 17,000 new verified email addresses for Diving Specials’ newsletter. Easypromos also helped detect and prevent fake votes, enabling the team to reuse contestants’ photos in promotions and achieve measurable growth in engagement and subscribers.
