EasyPost Partners with XPS Ship to Boost Shipping Speed and Reliability

XPS Ship is a multi-carrier shipping platform for eCommerce merchants that aggregates discounted rates and shipping tools in one interface. Facing repeated outages and insufficient support from its previous provider, XPS Ship needed a reliable third-party partner to supply up-to-date carrier data (especially for USPS) and faster, more dependable label and tracking services. In February 2021 XPS Ship partnered with EasyPost and began using EasyPost’s Label Creation API and Tracking API to power its back-end.

EasyPost integrated with XPS Ship in just 2–3 weeks, providing webhooks, batching, form creation, and 99.99% uptime so XPS Ship could continue operations even during USPS server outages. The result: label creation times dropped from every 5–6 seconds to about 350 milliseconds (over 14× faster), XPS Ship now ships over 1 million USPS packages per month, and the company gained faster integrations, better support, and improved claims handling through a long-term agreement with EasyPost.
