Casper, the direct‑to‑consumer mattress company, faced slow, inflexible carrier integrations that cost about three months per carrier and forced inefficient workflows (labels printed at point of sale, manual tracking). To scale into Europe without diverting engineering resources, Casper chose EasyPost and leveraged EasyPost’s Shipping API (and Tracking API) to replace their in‑house shipping stack.
EasyPost provided out‑of‑the‑box integrations with 100+ carriers so Casper could trial partners and onboard carriers in a day instead of months. Using EasyPost’s Shipping API for label printing at point of shipment and Tracking API webhooks for automatic updates, Casper launched in four countries over one summer, eliminated manual carrier polling, and greatly reduced integration time and operational overhead.
