Wilmington plc, a consulting and information services company, needed a faster and more reliable way to handle high volumes of charity-related documents. Working with Easy Software, it sought to replace a manual, error-prone process for extracting and storing data from around 5,000 documents per week using EASY DOCUMENTS and related capture tools.

Easy Software implemented an automated solution combining Fujitsu scanners, ABBYY FlexiCapture, and EASY DOCUMENTS workflow to scan, read, verify, and route data into Wilmington’s database. The result was a major efficiency gain: one person’s weekly workload dropped from five days to just 1.5 days, while data accuracy and searchability improved and Wilmington could deliver more information without adding staff.
