Stadtwerke München, the Munich municipal utilities company, needed a more secure and efficient way to manage personnel data for about 8,100 employees. Before the project, records were spread across paper files and SAP ERP HCM systems, creating redundancies, long search times, and six storage areas full of documents. The company chose EASY SOFTWARE’s EASY nextPCM Personnel File to support its digital personnel management initiative.

EASY SOFTWARE implemented an SAP-integrated digital personnel file solution that unified personnel and accounting documents, added structured file access permissions, and automated scanning and indexing of existing records. As a result, Stadtwerke München gained centralized, parallel access to employee information, faster document retrieval, and improved transparency and data security; more than 2.4 million paper pages were being replaced with digital files, and the solution made everyday HR work significantly easier.
