ÖBB, the Austrian Federal Railway, needed a better way to manage complex HR processes across around 20 group companies and 40,000 employees. Easy Software implemented EASY PCM to digitize and automate personnel management in SAP ERP, creating revision-proof digital personnel files and streamlined workflows for approvals, master data updates, recruiting, and retirement planning. The result was faster, more transparent HR processing, with salary increases, promotions, and position changes handled in half the time, more than 500 cases automated shortly after rollout, and significant savings in paper and storage space.
