Hertha BSC, the long-established Bundesliga football club, needed a more efficient way to manage invoices across multiple departments and cost centers. With a small administration team, frequent staff changes, and paper-based processes causing delays and confusion, the club turned to EASY Software and its digital document management solution to bring more structure to accounts payable and invoice handling.

EASY Software implemented a digital invoice management workflow that connected with Hertha BSC’s existing contract solution and could be rolled out quickly, even during the first COVID-19 lockdown. The new system simplified approvals, enabled remote working, and allowed the club to fine-tune workflows after go-live. As a result, Hertha BSC reduced invoice receipt processing time by 40% and has already processed around 1,300 invoices digitally, with plans to move to fully digital accounting.
