Borussia Mönchengladbach, the German football club, needed a more scalable and legally secure way to archive growing volumes of email as it moved to a new stadium and rebuilt its IT infrastructure. Its old Outlook/PST-based approach raised concerns about long-term performance, searchability, and compliance, so the club looked for a dedicated archiving solution from Easy Software.

Easy Software implemented EASY for Exchange, first as EASY xBASE and later upgraded to the newer version during a domain migration. The rollout was smooth and largely self-managed with support documents from Easy Software, and the system has since archived 220 mailboxes and about 2.5 terabytes of data without issues. The club benefited from stable performance, reduced server load, easier Outlook-based searching, and reliable legal-compliance support.
