BKK increases service quality and processing speed of family portfolio care with EASY ApiOmat

BKK Linde, a German statutory health insurance fund with 240 employees and around 138,000 insured customers, wanted to digitize its paper-based “Family Portfolio Care” process to improve service quality and speed up processing. The manual questionnaire workflow was cumbersome for both customers and staff, involved long turnaround times, and created unnecessary mailing and labor costs. Easy Software, using EASY ApiOmat, helped BKK Linde modernize the process while meeting strict social security data protection requirements.

Easy Software implemented a digital service app and responsive web forms that integrated with BKK Linde’s core healthcare systems, archive, and cloud services. The solution enabled more than 20 self-service forms and pushed the completion rate for the family questionnaire from 0% to 63%, saving 49,290 minutes per year and about EUR 56,000 annually. Easy Software also enabled BKK Linde to roll out additional digital processes such as foreign invoice reimbursement and further insurance clarification with startup speed.
