Earnix worked with European Insurance Company, a large European insurer with multiple subsidiaries and more than 500,000 customers, to improve motor insurance pricing performance. The company wanted to better understand the relationship between price, conversion, retention, and cancellations, while balancing market share and profitability within a constrained 4–9% pricing range.

Using Earnix’s Pricing Analytics Solution, the vendor built statistical models, redefined conversion and retention metrics, and ran extensive scenario analysis to support demand-based pricing recommendations. Earnix helped the insurer identify a clear relationship between price and mid-term cancellations, improve pricing decisions, and adapt to changing business constraints; the project delivered an anticipated profitability increase of 1.2% year over year, with field-test gains of up to 1.6% and an uplift comparable to over 2% of GWP.
