Howard Tenens, a company with depots and warehouses across the UK, wanted to gather employee thoughts and measure satisfaction through an internal survey. They needed a campaign that would feel inclusive and company-wide, rather than a top-down exercise, and turned to Earl & Thompson Marketing for support with the employee communications.

Earl & Thompson Marketing created the “Smiles Better” campaign using A3 posters, wage slip flyers, intranet updates, and branded depot champions to drive awareness and participation in the anonymous survey. The approach worked well, with two thirds of employees responding to the first survey, and the positive feedback led Howard Tenens to adopt the survey on a bi-annual basis.
