Amano worked with Earl & Thompson Marketing to create a direct online selling channel and increase sales through ecommerce, rather than relying on the traditional dealer network. The challenge was to build account customers and drive higher-margin direct sales while strengthening customer relationships.

Earl & Thompson Marketing developed a digital strategy and built a simple-to-use Content Management System in ExpressionEngine, creating a fully transactional website supported by Adwords and connected to Amano’s social media programme and Privilege Club. The result was a successful direct sales channel that generated such strong sales that multi-language site variants were later produced.
