A Eagle Eye Networks Case Study

Using Cloud Video Surveillance to Create a Safer Environment on Four School Campuses

Fairfield Community School District, serving about 2,100 students across four campuses (three elementary schools and a combined junior high/high school), needed a comprehensive, cyber‑secure surveillance solution to protect students, staff and property. The district planned 138 cameras and required a cloud-based system — Eagle Eye Networks’ cloud VMS — to enable mobile sharing with law enforcement, off‑site redundant storage, flexible retention and reduced local IT overhead.

The district implemented Eagle Eye Networks’ Security Camera VMS to centrally manage 138 cameras with granular camera groups and permissions, plus the First Responder Emergency Video feature for instant web/mobile access by designated police and fire personnel. Eagle Eye Networks delivered easier, controlled access for first responders, off‑site storage with built‑in redundancies, lower IT management and local storage costs, flexible retention per camera, and improved situational awareness and emergency response across all campuses.
