The University of Chicago needed a video solution to better monitor the interior and exterior of an on-campus residence hall to ensure student safety. They selected Eagle Eye Networks' Eagle Eye Cloud VMS to support cameras both inside and around the building and to provide remote, centralized access for security staff.

Eagle Eye Networks deployed Eagle Eye Cloud VMS with an Eagle Eye Bridge 410 to support 12 analog cameras and 14 days of retention; motion detection and easy remote viewing allowed security officers and staff to monitor students more closely. The solution reduced the need for constant patrols, increased situational awareness, and gave campus security greater peace of mind.
