SHIPS - Customer Case Study

SHIPS, a Japanese retail importer with 86 stores, faced limitations using analog cameras and local recorders for loss prevention and wanted centralized, 24/7 remote management to avoid risks from device failures. To address this, SHIPS selected Eagle Eye Networks and its Eagle Eye Cloud VMS to replace local recording devices and modernize their surveillance strategy.

Eagle Eye Networks deployed the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS (with Eagle Eye Bridge 304) to stream and securely store video in the cloud with minimal bandwidth impact, supporting existing IP cameras from Panasonic and Axis. The solution is currently monitoring about 100 cameras across 10 locations with 30–90 day retention, enabling centralized remote management, reducing dependence on local hardware, and providing an ongoing path to roll out cloud-based surveillance across SHIPS’ stores and warehouses.
