Red Lobster, a seafood restaurant chain with over 700 locations, needed a better way to access surveillance video across eight sites. The manager was frustrated by a DVR-based system that required physical retrieval of footage, so he selected Eagle Eye Networks and its Eagle Eye Cloud VMS to upgrade to a cloud-managed solution while keeping existing equipment.

Eagle Eye Networks implemented Eagle Eye Cloud VMS with Eagle Eye CMVR 324 units (one per site) across the eight locations (32 IP cameras) on an onsite M10 retention plan. The deployment let Red Lobster keep its working cameras (avoiding replacement costs), view multi-site video on a cell phone, and manage user permissions camera-by-camera—delivering faster access to footage, improved operational efficiency, and centralized cloud management with onsite storage.
