PODS Storage, the company that invented portable storage containers and now operates more than 170,000 containers across 230 PODS Storage Centers in North America, needed a way to centrally manage video surveillance across many sites and detect after-hours loitering since locations are unstaffed. To meet that challenge they selected Eagle Eye Networks and its Eagle Eye Cloud VMS.

Eagle Eye Networks deployed Eagle Eye Cloud VMS with an Eagle Eye Bridge 304 and Avigilon IP cameras across 10 locations (60 cameras total) with 14-day retention. The solution gives PODS Storage remote, mobile access to live and recorded video and sends real-time motion alerts for predefined areas to detect loitering, enabling centralized monitoring and faster incident awareness without on-site staff.
